Tapestry Health offers confidential family planning counseling, birth control, emergency contraception, and pregnancy testing at all of our clinics. Regardless of your situation, we are here to help you.
We offer an extensive range of birth control methods, and our counselors and clinicians can inform you about them. Based on your medical history and lifestyle, we will help you to choose the one best suited to your needs.
We offer a variety of birth control on site, but we can provide you with a prescription for your pharmacy if you prefer. We also offer oral contraceptive refills by mail for returning clients who have a prescription with us.
Click on the links below to learn about different methods. Feel free to contact us to find out whether we provide a particular one; if we do not provide it, we will refer you to someone who does. Please remember that only abstinence guarantees 100% protection against pregnancy.

Emergency contraception can stop or delay ovulation, prevent fertilization, or block the release of the egg into the uterus. If you have had unprotected sexual intercourse within the past five days or 120 hours, come to us for EC. If more time has elapsed, please read below about pregnancy testing.
By law, any individual, regardless of age, can obtain EC without a prescription. Remember: the sooner that you take EC, the greater its effectiveness at preventing pregnancy.
Tapestry Health offers confidential pregnancy testing regardless of age. If 10 or more days have passed since you last had intercourse, the test can reveal whether your urine sample contains a hormone that is present only during pregnancy. Cost depends upon the income and size of your household. In some cases, the test is free.
The test takes approximately five minutes to determine your result and has an accuracy rate of 99.6%. If it returns negative and you still do not have a period, you may get a follow-up test. If positive, a counselor can talk with you about your options, including prenatal care, birth, adoption, or abortion. We can also refer you to doctors and specialists who can help you get services that you need.
